Adani Enterprises Limited entered into share purchase agreement to acquire 24% stake in Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited from Jaiprakash Associates Limited on May 21, 2026. A cash consideration of INR 29.94 billion will be paid by Adani Enterprises Limited.
The transaction is expected to close in 90 days from March 17, 2026. The transaction was approved by National Company Law Tribunal on March 17, 2026 and from Competition Commission of India on August 26, 2025.

It is operating a cement grinding unit at Nigrie, District Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh and is also engaged in captive coal mining operations at Amelia Coal Block for the supply of coal to JaypeeNigrie Super Thermal Power Plant. The Company's subsidiaries include Sangam Power Generation Company Limited, Jaypee Arunachal Power Limited, Jaypee Meghalaya Power Limited and Bina Mines and Supply Limited.
