AFC Energy plc announced the appointment of Nick Walker as Chief Strategy Officer with immediate effect. Nick is a seasoned hydrogen, cleantech and energy transition technology and infrastructure specialist with over 25 years of experience as an analyst, investment banker, fund raiser and consultant, with a particular focus on hydrogen companies across the hydrogen value chain, globally. He has previously held senior investment research and/or corporate finance positions, at Liberum Capital, Evolution Securities, and Beeson Gregory, and was until recently Head of Renewable Energy, Clean Tech & Sustainability Research at Peel Hunt.
Nick will lead the development and execution of AFC Energy's commercialisation strategy as the Company advances its next generation of ammonia cracker and fuel cell technologies into global markets. He will be responsible for enhancing AFC Energy's commercial partnerships, driving long-term growth opportunities, and ensuring the alignment of strategic objectives with operational delivery. In addition, he will oversee stakeholder engagement and investor relations, working closely with the investment community and industry partners to strengthen AFC Energy's profile and ensure effective communication of the Company's progress and outlook.
