Engineering consultancy Afry has been appointed as Owner's Engineer for the Upperchurch wind farm in Ireland, developed by Ecopower. The project includes 22 wind turbines with an installed capacity of 99 MW and a maximum export capacity of 84 MW.
Construction began in January this year, and commissioning is scheduled for 2027. This marks Afry's fifth wind power assignment in collaboration with Ecopower. No financial details have been disclosed.
