Air Liquide has compiled information to facilitate financial modeling of its results for the 2025 fiscal year. The specialist in industrial, medical, and technological gases recalled that in the third quarter, the impact of currency effects was -4.2% on its revenue, and for the fourth quarter, it is expected to be close to -6%, or about -3.5% for the entire year. xcvd
The French giant also noted that its sales increased by 2.7% in the third quarter in the Industrial Merchant segment and by 4.9% in the Healthcare business. Conversely, over the same period, sales declined by 0.2% in the Large Industries division and by 0.9% in Electronics.
The group notably emphasized its "confidence in its ability to further increase its operating margin and achieve growth in its recurring net profit, at constant exchange rates for the 2025 fiscal year."
L'Air Liquide is one of the world leaders in industrial and medical gas production. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- industrial and medical gases production (96.8%): oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, synthesized gases. The group also supplies control equipment and services for fluid systems, gas and liquid chemical management, home care and hospital hygiene services, and operating room equipment. Net sales break down by market as follows: industries (73.8%), healthcare (16.8%) and electronics (9.4%);
- other (3.2%): engineering activities related to gas production plant construction and high-tech product manufacturing.
