ALTEO Energy Services Public : Disclosure Regarding New Capacity Expansion at ALTEO – 13 August 2025

PRESS RELEASE Additional capacity expansion at ALTEO August 13, 2025 - A 6 MW gas engine has commenced operation in the Győr Industrial Park, thus successfully concluding the fully self-financed investment project.

The power plant, designed around a Wärtsilä 18V34SG, 6MWe gas engine, was implemented in the Győr Industrial Park as part of a greenfield investment project by ALTEO Nyrt. The project, together with the previously delivered 8 MW/16 MWh battery electricity storage system (BESS), also has further development potential, including the free area next to the power plant building, the proximity to the industrial park and the utilizable thermal capacity of the gas engine.

The Győr facility is unique in that three different technologies - the battery electricity storage facility, the gas engine and ALTEO's 25 MW wind farm in Bőny -connect to the national grid at a common point, making use of the wind farm's existing grid connection capacity and increasing the level of its utilization.
