AMD appointed Ariel Kelman as chief marketing officer, effective immediately.
The semiconductor company said Monday that Kelman will oversee global marketing for AMD reporting to Chief Administrative Officer Ruth Cotter. Kelman also holds the title of senior vice president.
Kelman most recently served as president and chief marketing officer at Salesforce. He has also held senior positions at Amazon Web Services and Oracle.
"As AMD continues to expand our portfolio and deliver industry-leading high-performance and AI solutions across data center, embedded, client and gaming, Ariel's leadership will be instrumental in sharpening our storytelling, advancing our marketing organization and accelerating our momentum," Cotter said.
