An undisclosed buyer acquired Lighting Systems Business in Europe from Magna International Inc. (TSX:MG) on April 9, 2026. In related separate transactions, Magna International Inc. is also divesting its Lighting operations serving front and rear lighting programs in North America, South America and China and European Rooftop Systems operations.
For the period ending December 31, 2025, Lighting business from Magna International Inc. (TSX : MG) reported total revenue of CAD 1 billion.
All three transactions are expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Magna does not expect the divestitures to impact its 2026 adjusted earnings per diluted share outlook as previously issued.
