Asmodee Exceeds Expectations, OMXS30 Index Down 0.5 Percent

By 1 p.m., the OMXS30 index was down 0.51 percent at 3,149.90. Shares worth approximately SEK 7.9 billion had been traded on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
The best performance among the exchange's major industrial sectors was in consumer discretionary, which rose 1.3 percent. At the other end of the spectrum, financials lagged behind with a decrease of 0.7 percent.
Among the leading stocks included in the OMXS30 index, Evolution climbed 1.6 percent, while Saab B was up 1.4 percent. The weakest performer was Boliden, down 1.5 percent, while Swedbank A fell 1.3 percent.
Several companies released their quarterly reports during the day. Notably, board game company Asmodee delivered a much better report than expected. Adjusted EBITDA came in at EUR 114.5 million, compared to the expected 93 million. Games published by Asmodee's studios decreased by 12.7 percent, while games published by partners increased by 50.3 percent. The stock is up 2.1 percent.
Investment company Bure Equity reported a net asset value of SEK 267.2 per share at the end of the fourth quarter, compared to SEK 274.8 per share in the previous quarter and SEK 333.0 per share for the same period last year. The board proposes an unchanged dividend of SEK 2.75 per share. The stock is up 2.2 percent.
Astra Zeneca is trading down 1.6 percent today. The company is trading ex-dividend of USD 2.17 per share.
Medical technology company Bonesupport is up 6 percent after industry peer Heraues Medical, which supplies bone replacement materials, temporarily halted production at its main factory, which is expected to affect supply for up to two months.
Betting company Betsson is considering appealing a ruling by the Svea Court of Appeal, which requires its subsidiaries BML Group and NGG Nordic to repay SEK 4.7 million to a player, according to Dagens industri. According to lawyer Bob Lee, the ruling could have far-reaching consequences for future marketing for both Betsson and the gaming industry as a whole. Betsson's stock is up 1.4 percent.
Media company Viaplay Group's adjusted operating profit decreased to SEK 158 million, while revenue increased. Organic sales for the core business declined compared to the previous year. The stock is up 0.7 percent.
Electrical installation company Garo swung to an operating loss of SEK -4.9 million in the fourth quarter. At the same time, revenue increased. The company sees early signs that key markets may strengthen during the year. The stock is down 9.3 percent.
Research company Oncopeptides' report was overshadowed by the announcement of a rights issue of SEK 220 million. The stock is down 34.6 percent.
Industrial company Malmbergs Elektriska swung to an operating profit of SEK 6.8 million, and simultaneously increased revenue. A dividend announcement will be made at a later date. The stock is up 2.6 percent.
Consumer research company Cint's EBITDA result came in better than expected at EUR 10.8 million for the quarter. The stock is up 36.5 percent.
Real estate company Annehem has appointed Christian Fredefors as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will take up the position on May 18 and will be part of the company's management team. The stock is up 3.5 percent.
On the analysis front, Deutsche Bank has upgraded Truecaller to buy (from hold), with a target price of SEK 15 (previously 21). The stock is up 10 percent.
Danske Bank has downgraded Sobi to hold, from buy. The stock is down 3.1 percent.
Pareto Securities has downgraded Bravida to hold, from buy. The stock is down 1 percent.
