Astroscale Holdings Inc. announced that the Board of Directors resolved on a new global management structure as follows, at a meeting held on March 31, 2026. Effective April 1, 2026, several changes have been made to the Company?s executive leadership. Christopher Blackerby, previously Director and Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Director and Deputy President, Group Chief Operating Officer.
Nobuhiro Matsuyama has transitioned from Director to Director and Deputy President. Gene Fujii, formerly Chief Engineer, is now serving as Senior Executive Officer and Group Chief Engineer. Mike Lindsay has been elevated from Chief Technology Officer to Senior Executive Officer and Group Chief Technology Officer.
Nicholas Shave has moved from Astroscale Ltd. Managing Director to Senior Executive Officer and Managing Director of Astroscale Ltd. Philippe Blatt, previously President and Managing Director of Astroscale France SAS, has been appointed Senior Executive Officer and continues as President and Managing Director of Astroscale France SAS. Jeremy Hutcherson has advanced from Senior Vice President of Global Brand and Communications to Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications. Yasutaka Asada has been promoted from Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources to Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
Global Management Structure (Effective April 1, 2026): Under the updated global management structure, Mitsunobu Okada serves as Representative Director and President, Group Chief Executive Officer, with responsibility for overall global business oversight and the Japan business. Christopher Blackerby, as Director and Deputy President, Group Chief Operating Officer, supports the Chief Executive Officer and oversees subsidiary management, human resources, and marketing and communications. Nobuhiro Matsuyama holds the role of Director and Deputy President, Group Chief Financial Officer, providing CEO support while leading finance, governance, legal, information technology, and risk management functions.
Gene Fujii, Senior Executive Officer and Group Chief Engineer, is responsible for engineering across the group. Mike Lindsay serves as Senior Executive Officer and Group Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the company?s technology strategy. Nicholas Shave, Senior Executive Officer and Managing Director of Astroscale Ltd, manages the United Kingdom business, while Ronald Lopez, President and Managing Director of Astroscale U.S. Inc., is responsible for the United States business.
Philippe Blatt, Senior Executive Officer and President and Managing Director of Astroscale France SAS, oversees operations in France. Jeremy Hutcherson, Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications, leads global marketing and communications activities. Yasutaka Asada serves as Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources, with responsibility for human resources and concurrently serving as ASP Managing Director.
