(Alliance News) - Avio Spa announced that the European Ariane 6 launcher has completed its flight from French Guiana, successfully placing 32 satellites into orbit.

As the company explained in a statement, for the first time, the rocket used four solid propellant P120C boosters, developed by Europropulsion – a joint venture between Avio and ArianeGroup – which operated flawlessly for approximately 134 seconds.

"The configuration with four boosters allows Ariane 6 to double its performance compared to the version with two boosters, marking a significant step forward for the European space program. A more powerful version of the boosters, the P160C, has been successfully qualified and will be used for upcoming missions," the statement read.
