BLD Plantation Bhd. is engaged in investment holding and provision of management services. It is focused on the oil palm industry in Malaysia. The activities of the Company are the operations of a palm oil refinery and kernel crushing plant, cultivation of oil palm, processing of fresh fruit bunches, sales of related products and letting of property. Its divisions include plantation, milling, refinery and crushing and other activities. The plantation division has a total landbank of approximately 51,000 hectares in the State of Sarawak. The milling division has two mills, namely Sawai Palm Oil Mill (located at Sawai Land District, Miri) and Igan Palm Oil Mill (located at Kabang Land District, Sibu). The refining and crushing division includes the palm oil refinery at Tanjung Kidurong Industrial Estate in Bintulu, Sarawak. The other activities which it involved are integrated cattle farming and goat rearing, compost, stone quarrying, letting of property, security services and others.
