Bonesupport Rises on Rival's Production Woes, OMXS30 Index Down 0.3 Percent

At the close, the OMXS30 index was down 0.26 percent at 3,157.96. Shares worth approximately SEK 23.2 billion were traded on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
The energy sector posted the best performance among the exchange's major industrial sectors, rising 2.7 percent. At the other end of the spectrum, finance lagged behind with a 1.0 percent drop.
Among the leading stocks in the OMXS30 index, Saab B rose 2.9 percent, while Addtech B gained 1.4 percent. EQT fared the worst, falling 3.9 percent, while SEB A slipped 1.2 percent.
Several companies released their quarterly reports during the day. Notably, board game company Asmodee delivered a much stronger report than expected. Adjusted EBITDA came in at EUR 114.5 million, compared to the expected 93 million. Games published by Asmodee's studios decreased by 12.7 percent, while games published by partners increased by 50.3 percent. The share rose 1.5 percent.
Investment company Bure Equity reported a net asset value of SEK 267.2 per share at the end of the fourth quarter, compared with SEK 274.8 per share in the previous quarter and SEK 333.0 per share for the same period last year. The board proposes an unchanged dividend of SEK 2.75 per share. The stock gained 1.6 percent.
Astra Zeneca was down 1.9 percent today. The company traded ex-dividend of USD 2.17 per share.
Medical technology company Bonesupport jumped 3.9 percent after industry peer Heraues Medical, which supplies bone replacement materials, temporarily halted production at its main plant, which is expected to impact supply for up to two months.
Betting company Betsson is considering appealing a Svea Court of Appeal ruling that requires its subsidiaries BML Group and NGG Nordic to repay SEK 4.7 million to a player, according to Dagens industri. According to lawyer Bob Lee, the ruling could have far-reaching consequences for future marketing for both Betsson and the gaming industry as a whole. Betsson shares were up 0.1 percent.
Media company Viaplay Group saw its adjusted operating profit fall to SEK 158 million, while revenue increased. Organic sales for its core business declined compared to the previous year. The stock fell 6.1 percent.
Electrical installation company Garo turned to an operating loss of SEK -4.9 million in the fourth quarter, although revenue increased. The company sees early signs that main markets may strengthen during the year. The share dropped 10.4 percent.
Research company Oncopeptides' report was overshadowed by the announcement of a rights issue of SEK 220 million. The stock plummeted 38.2 percent.
Industrial company Malmbergs Elektriska swung to an operating profit of SEK 6.8 million and simultaneously increased revenue. Dividend information will be announced at a later date. The share rose 0.6 percent.
Real estate company Catena has entered into an agreement to acquire a Nordic logistics property portfolio from Urban Partners at an underlying property value of approximately SEK 8.8 billion. The stock slipped 0.4 percent.
Real estate company Annehem has appointed Christian Fredefors as new CFO, effective May 18, and he will join the company's management team. The share was up 3.7 percent.
On the analysis front, Deutsche Bank upgraded Truecaller to buy (hold), target price SEK 15 (21). The share rose 7.1 percent.
Affärsvärlden gave a buy recommendation for Verisure, which fell 2.1 percent.
Danske Bank downgraded Sobi to hold from buy. The stock fell 4.6 percent.
Pareto Securities downgraded Bravida to hold from buy. The share gained 1.7 percent.
