Automotive supplier Bosch has landed a major contract from Mercedes-Benz for the supply of electric motors. The technology group is set to deliver a high volume of e-motors for the carmaker's next generation of electric drivetrains through the 2030s, Bosch announced on Tuesday. Financial details were not initially disclosed. The new order reaffirms the long-standing partnership with Mercedes-Benz, said Markus Heyn, head of the Bosch Mobility supply division.

Despite intense price and competitive pressure, as well as varying regional development speeds, Bosch considers itself on track regarding electromobility. In 2025, the company secured more than 70 customer projects worldwide, according to the statement. Bosch currently supplies more than 50 automakers globally with technology and solutions for electric vehicles. High production volumes and the resulting significant economies of scale are a key advantage for Bosch, Heyn explained.
