Installation company Bravida is suing the Örnsköldsvik municipal group for 50 million kronor in damages after the municipality filed a police report against the company for suspected invoice fraud in the spring of 2025, Dagens industri reports.

The police report contributed to Bravida's market value dropping by 12.2 percent, equivalent to just over 2 billion kronor. Two months later, police closed the case after finding no grounds to suspect a crime.

In its lawsuit filed with the Ångermanland District Court, Bravida cites, among other things, the stock price drop and is also demanding payment of approximately 14 million kronor, including late payment interest, for unpaid invoices relating to electrical, heating, and sanitation work from September 2024 to October 2025.
