The investment company Bure Equity has decided to begin the process of appointing a successor to CEO Henrik Blomquist after his 27 years with the firm, including the last 13 years as CEO. Blomquist will remain in his role until a new CEO takes office, though no later than June 2027. Following his departure, he will serve as an industrial advisor with a focus on board assignments at Vitrolife Group and Mercuri International.

Chairman Patrik Tigerschiöld highlighted Blomquist's long-term value-creating ownership work and expressed gratitude for a close collaboration dating back to 1999. Blomquist noted that Bure's net asset value has grown to more than ten times the level it was when he assumed the CEO position in 2013.
