Construction group Byggpartner has been awarded the contract to build the new Karlsäng School in Nora, which will replace the municipality's current secondary school dating back to 1968.

The new school will be designed to accommodate up to 500 students and will also include a special needs primary school and a youth recreation center.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with completion expected for the autumn term of 2028. The contract value amounts to approximately 285 million Swedish kronor.
