(Alliance News) - Campari NV announced on Tuesday a tender offer to holders of its EUR550.0 million 1.25% notes due October 6, 2027, inviting them to sell their holdings back to the company, in whole or in part, for cash.

The company also announced its intention to issue new bonds totaling EUR500.0 million under its EUR2.00 billion Euro Medium Term Note program.

The tender offer and the planned bond issuance aim to 'proactively manage the company's upcoming debt maturities and optimize its debt maturity profile', according to a company statement.

In connection with the offer, the company has appointed BNP PARIBAS and Deutsche Bank as Dealer Managers. For the planned issuance of the new bonds, the company has appointed BNP PARIBAS, BofA Securities, Deutsche Bank, IMI-Intesa Sanpaolo, and UniCredit as Joint Lead Managers.

Campari shares were up 0.5% at EUR5.55 per share.
