The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board is no longer a public short seller in Handelsbanken after reducing its short position below 0.5 percent. The pension giant first appeared as a public short seller in Handelsbanken on February 20.
There are currently no public short sellers in the company, but the total short interest in the bank amounts to 4.04 percent of the capital.
The Financial Supervisory Authority requires that positions over 0.1 percent be reported, and short positions above 0.5 percent be made public.
