(Reuters) -French broadcasting company Canal+ on Thursday reported nine-month group revenue of 4.6 billion euros ($5.4 billion), up 1.2% organically compared to the same period in 2024, and confirmed its outlook for the full year.
The broadcaster's revenue was 3.4 billion euros in Europe and 783 million euros in the Asia and Africa segment.
Those results exclude activity from recently acquired South African broadcaster MultiChoice, which was consolidated into Canal+ 11 days before the end of the quarter.
Canal+, which was spun off from Vivendi in December 2024 and listed in London as a springboard to becoming a global content platform zeroing in on Asia and Africa, closed its $2 billion acquisition of MultiChoice in September.
The group said on Monday it was planning a secondary listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, with an aim for the shares to start trading there before September 2026.
