Capgemini said it is part of a consortium that won a multimillion-euro four-year contract from the European Union to provide cybersecurity services to public institutions.
The French consulting and technology group said the consortium was awarded the contract for the MC17 Freia cyber framework by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Digital Services, which manages digital services for EU institutions.
The consortium includes Airbus Protect, PwC, and Nviso, Capgemini said Monday.
"Capgemini will help strengthen cybersecurity capabilities and protect critical digital infrastructure across 71 European institutions, bodies, and agencies," it added.
