CAQ Holdings Limited announced that Mr. Ching Chung has resigned as a director of the Company effective 21 July 2025. The Company announced that Mr. Soo Tuck Yoon has been appointed as director of the Company. Mr. Soo has over forty years' of senior management experience in hotels, resorts, and casinos with expertise in start-ups, operations and marketing across diverse cultural environments in Asia, the USA, etc.
Prior to this he was the Managing Director and Shareholder of a Fintech start-up in Cambodia, licensed by the National Bank of Cambodia as a Payment Service Institution. (2018- February 2025). From 2013 to 2015 he was a Non-Executive Director CAQ Holdings Limited.
He has held various positions and assumed senior roles as CEO of Donaco Singapore; as Consultant and Management roles to various Hotel & Casinos start-ups in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Indonesia. He started his career in 1979 in Genting Highlands Resort, Malaysia where he held various senior roles and in 1986-1991 managed a hotel in Los Angeles, USA. He had also held positions as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer (1993-1996) for Harbin Roxy Entertainment City, Harbin, PRC.
