IT company Carasent, which supplies electronic health record systems to the healthcare sector, reported increased revenue in the fourth quarter compared to the same period last year. The operating result showed a turnaround to profit.
"We are closing 2025 with a strong quarter in line with our goals. This is largely thanks to the successful launch of Volvat on schedule, where we have converted about 30 million records from 5 systems, activated around 3,000 users, and built a lot of new functionality that will benefit all our customers going forward. For Volvat, we still have, as planned, 2 smaller systems left to migrate," said CEO Daniel Öhman.
Revenue rose by 18.9 percent to 93.6 million kronor (78.7). Organic sales growth was 16 percent (15).
Annual recurring revenue (ARR) amounted to 326 million kronor (287).
Organic ARR growth was 15 percent (13).
The EBITDA result was 23.8 million kronor (-8.7), with an EBITDA margin of 25.4 percent.
Adjusted EBITDA amounted to 23.8 million kronor (11.7), with an adjusted EBITDA margin of 25.4 percent (14.9).
The operating result was 7.8 million kronor (-24.1), with an operating margin of 8.3 percent.
The result after tax was 29.1 million kronor (-24.2).
Earnings per share amounted to 0.42 kronor (-0.34).
"For 2026, the focus is to continue strengthening our products with functionality that enables our users to help more patients and reduce administration—there is so much we can support them with! Furthermore, we will continue to grow rapidly and with good cost control in the Nordics and launch our new product in Germany. 2026 will be an exciting year," concluded the Carasent CEO in his statement.
