CBRE announced that Darrell Palasciano has joined as senior vice president of CBRE's Retail Services group, based in Charlotte. He's a veteran leasing and development advisor with over two decades of experience. Palasciano will work across the spectrum with suburban landlords, mom-and-pop stores, national brands and publicly traded real estate investment trusts as well as stakeholders on projects such as the Iron District, 227 Southside Drive and Queen City Quarter.

Palasciano was most recently with The Providence Group, where he focused on new construction, redevelopment, urban infill, outparcel development, and tenant disposition. Prior to that, he spent a decade with TSCG. He has worked with local, regional, and national brands and led portfolio dispositions for major retail and restaurant chains.

Palasciano earned a finance degree from UNC Charlotte and has served on the alumni board for the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate. He has also held several leadership positions with ICSC ? the International Council of Shopping Centers ?

most recently serving as state chair for North and South Carolina.
