CCL Industries Inc. (TSX:CCL.B) signed a binding agreement to acquire Advanced Safety Technologies B.V. from Gimv NV (ENXTBR:GIMB) and others for CAD 32 million on January 16, 2026. The debt free, all cash purchase consideration, subject to customary closing conditions, is approximately CAD 32 million. Sales for the trailing twelve months ending November 30, 2025, were approximately CAD 67 million. The transaction is subject to regulatory procedures. The transaction is expected to close during the second quarter of 2026.

The Checkpoint segment is a developer of RF and RFID based technology systems for loss prevention and inventory management applications, including labeling and tagging solutions, for the retail and apparel industries worldwide.
