The board (the "Board") of directors of China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited announced that, pursuant to the relevant requirements under the Company Law of the People's Republic of China, the Trade Union Law of the People's Republic of China and the Articles of Association of China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited, the Company convened an employee representative meeting on 5 September 2025 and elected Mr. Huang Pu ("Mr. Huang") as an employee Director of the Company, with his term of office taking effect from the date of election at the employee representative meeting until the expiration of the term of the third session of the Board. Mr. Huang will not receive any Director's emoluments from the Company for serving as an employee Director. Mr. Huang Pu, born in October 1967, is a professorate senior engineer.
He holds a master's degree in business administration. Mr. Huang is currently the deputy secretary of the Party committee, an employee Director and the chairman of the labor union of the Company, and concurrently the deputy secretary of the Party committee, an employee Director and the chairman of the labor union of China Energy Engineering Group Co. Ltd.* ().
Mr. Huang has successively served as the deputy head of Party disciplinary inspection group, the director of disciplinary inspection and supervision department and the director general of office of leading Party member group inspection work of China South Industries Group Co. Ltd.; a member of the Party committee and the secretary of the discipline inspection committee of China National Chemical Corporation Ltd.* (); and a member of the standing committee of the Party committee and the secretary of the discipline inspection committee of Power Construction Corporation of China Ltd.
