BEIJING, March 16 (Reuters) - Chinese EV maker Leapmotor said on Monday that it expected mass production of its vehicles from Spain from October, with some projects with Stellantis being in "advanced negotiation stages."
Stellantis is a shareholder for Leapmotor and the two automakers have a joint venture to push overseas expansion.
An assembly project in Spain is expected to start mass production in October, the company said in its earnings statement.
The Chinese automaker turned to a net profit of 0.54 billion yuan ($78.31 million) in 2025 from a 2.82 billion yuan loss a year before, it added on Monday.
