In 2026, Cloetta will move its largest Scandinavian office to "Werket" (Skrovet 6) on Isbergs Gata in Dockan, Malmö. The building, which has for a long time housed Saab, will now be opened up with a welcoming ground floor and a flexible floor plan. Cloetta's popular concept store will continue to operate on the shopping street in central Malmö.

Cloetta has been active in Malmö since the late 1800s and has maintained its office for Swedish operations on Södra Förstadsgatan for 20 years. Since 2025, the office has been part of Cloetta's Scandinavian business operations, currently hosting around 100 employees based in Malmö. The lease covers 1,400 m² and runs for seven years, with occupancy starting on 1 September 2026.

Werket is located at the intersection of the city center, Dockan, and Varvsstaden, in the heart of the "Malmö Generate District," an emerging environment for companies, academia, and public organizations working with innovation, creativity, and sustainable transformation. Malmö Central Station is a seven-minute walk away, and the surrounding area offers a wide range of restaurants and other services. The building was constructed in 2003 for Telia, which leased the entire property until 2014 when Saab gradually took over.

Saab will vacate the property at the turn of the year, enabling it to be opened up and transformed into a welcoming environment with a reception, café, shared meeting rooms, coworking spaces, and a landscaped courtyard. The renovation includes new entrance areas, upgraded changing rooms, and a new bicycle parking facility, while the courtyard will receive new paving and greenery. The technical standard will be upgraded to reduce energy consumption and increase comfort, and solar panels will be installed.

The large floor plates will be dividend into several smaller units, with as much material and furnishing as possible being reused. Over the years, Dockan has developed into an area with many headquarters and has become an attractive location for brand exposure due to its dense mix of residential areas, workplaces, and proximity to the waterfront. Cloetta becomes an additional player in the food sector in the area, alongside companies such as Orkla Foods, Midsona, Oatly, and Felix.
