In the period from 24 November to 2 December 2025, a total of 988,146 shares were purchased as part of the second tranche of the share buyback program of RWE Aktiengesellschaft, the start of which was announced on 30 May 2025.

RWE AG is one of the leading European energy groups. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- electricity and gas trading and distribution (80.5%): electricity (155,903 GWh sold in 2024) and gas (42,316 GWh);
- renewable energy production (16.7%): wind, solar, hydroelectric and biomass energy production (117,801 GWh produced in 2024);
- production of electricity from biomass (4.7%). The group also develops energy storage in battery storage systems and pumped-storage power stations as well as hydrogen production activities.
