Comcast has completed the expansion of its network in three underserved areas of Spokane County, specifically in Chattaroy, Four Lakes, and Medical Lake. This expansion brings high-speed, symmetrical Internet to more than 2,200 homes and businesses, enhancing connectivity and providing access to Comcast's full lineup of Xfinity services. The expansion is part of Comcast's broader investment in Washington state, where the company has invested approximately $1.2 billion in network technology and infrastructure over the past three years.
This initiative not only improves broadband access but also supports local economic mobility through partnerships with nonprofits and programs like Internet Essentials, which offer low-cost broadband and affordable computers to eligible households.
