Communications-services companies rose amid deal activity.
Dutch telecom firm Odido is mulling an initial public offering as early as this month that could raise around $1.2 billion or more, Bloomberg reported.
Warner Bros. Discovery recouped some recent losses, amid growing hopes that antitrust regulators would allow a Netflix buyout of the company to close.
