Japanese entertainment conglomerate Sony agreed to pay more than $450 million to take control of Snoopy and Charlie Brown, the latest Hollywood power play that leverages cartoon icons across the entertainment industry.

DraftKings' prediction markets went live on Friday, bringing sports event contracts to 17 states, including some, like California and Texas, that haven't legalized sports betting. The sports-betting firm is seeking to push into a market dominated by specialists such as Kalshi.
