(Alliance News), The MIB continued its upward trajectory on Tuesday, moving past the 52,400 mark, confirming a strengthening technical outlook and approaching new all-time highs.
The positive momentum reflects an improvement in investor sentiment, bolstered by signs of easing geopolitical tensions following a preliminary agreement between the US and Iran. This development could facilitate the normalization of trade flows through the Strait of Hormuz and lead to a reduction in market risk premiums.
However, market participants remain focused on the upcoming cycle of decisions from major central banks. Guidance from the Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, and monetary institutions such as Switzerland will be crucial in shaping expectations for interest rates and global liquidity conditions.
Holding above the 52,400 threshold represents a constructive signal, reinforcing the Italian index's momentum. Investors remain focused on a potential continuation of the trend, with particular attention paid to volume confirmation and the market's ability to absorb potential profit-taking.
