Cushman & Wakefield appointed Leon Ikeda as Head of Advisory & Transactions, Asia Pacific, Data Center Group, effective May 2026. Leon was based in Singapore and led strategic advisory and transaction execution for data center operators, investors and hyperscale clients across Asia Pacific. He reported to Andrew Green, Head of Data Center Group, Asia Pacific, and worked closely with regional and global teams to support capital deployment, platform expansion and strategic partnerships as data center demand continued to accelerate across the region.

In his role, Leon delivered advisory-led solutions across acquisitions, divestments, portfolio strategies and partnerships within the rapidly expanding digital infrastructure ecosystem. Leon returned to Cushman & Wakefield with more than a decade of experience at the firm in Japan, where he developed deep market expertise in the data center sector, supporting client mandates through market analysis, research and participation in RFP processes. He most recently held senior regional roles on the operator side with Equinix and Digital Realty, where he was responsible for acquisitions and strategic expansion across Japan and Asia Pacific, leading major transactions in core markets including Tokyo and Osaka, and earning a global CEO award for his contributions to high-impact, region-defining projects.

Leon brought a dual-perspective approach, blending institutional advisory experience with hands-on operator-side execution expertise, enabling the firm to deliver commercially grounded solutions across the full data center lifecycle.
