"On behalf of TKMS, we have submitted a non-binding offer to German Naval Yards (GNYK)," a company spokesperson told Reuters on Thursday in response to an inquiry. Discussions between the two companies are ongoing and remain open-ended. TKMS had previously announced its intention to review the company's books. The shipyard, which employs around 400 people, builds warships such as frigates and corvettes.
