Delta held its 2025 Global ESG Workshop in sunny Bangkok, Thailand, bringing together more than 20 sustainability representatives from seven countries for two days of dialogue, knowledge sharing and strategic alignment. The program covered regional regulatory updates, challenges in advancing sustainability initiatives, highlights from each market, and key priorities for the next phase.
In addition to two panel discussions, the workshop featured a special session presented by the ESG Consulting Office on the development of ESG-driven business opportunities, in alignment with Delta Chairman Ping Cheng's vision "Delta's endeavor in ESG should extend beyond corporate performance; it must be connected to our business."
Delta Thailand CEO Victor Cheng welcomed participants through a video message, noting: "The ESG workshop is a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration toward Delta's sustainability goals. ESG is deeply integrated with our mission to provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow, and it plays a crucial role in building trust and recognition among our stakeholders."
Delta Group Chief Sustainability Officer Jesse Chou closed the event with remarks emphasizing the team synergy: "The spirit of the workshop is Sharing, Alignment and Collaboration. By exchanging experiences across regions, we can inspire new thinking and practical solutions to the challenges ESG teams face every day. Building consensus and working closely together will amplify our collective impact."
The two cross-regional panels were key highlights.
• The first, "Global Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Verification: Timelines and Measures," guided by the Corporate ESG team, explored common challenges faced across markets, encouraged creative problem-solving and developed actionable plans.
• The second, "Global ESG Reporting Requirements Alignment," led by the Corporate ESG team, focused on understanding regional disclosure needs, identifying shared resources and setting the direction for publishing a group-wide sustainability report aligned with multiple frameworks by 2028.
As host, the Delta Thailand team ensured a smooth and engaging workshop. Participants also visited Delta Thailand's manufacturing facilities and the Bangkok office showroom, gaining deeper insight into the company's business while exchanging ideas in person.
