The best-performing among the major industrial sectors on the exchange is energy, with a gain of 1.1 percent. At the other end of the scale, industry is at the bottom with a modest rise of 0.3 percent.

Among the leading stocks included in the OMXS30 index, Alfa Laval is up 1.5 percent, while EQT has risen 1.4 percent. The worst performers are Assa Abloy B, down 1.0 percent, and Saab B, down 0.4 percent.

Medical technology company Elekta reported an adjusted operating profit and order intake for the third quarter in line with consensus, while revenue was slightly lower than expected. The stock is trading ex-dividend of SEK 1.20 today and is up 5.7 percent.

Ventilation company Systemair's adjusted operating profit and revenue came in clearly below expectations in the third quarter. The stock is down 6 percent.

Oil and gas company Shamaran posted a significant increase in profit and revenue in the fourth quarter. The stock fell 2.6 percent.

Medical technology company Integrum saw its revenue decrease and operating loss widen to -SEK 9.5 million in Q3. The stock is down 11.5 percent.

Medical technology company Sectra is acquiring Lithuanian Oxipit, which specializes in AI-based solutions for radiology. The stock is down 1.3 percent.

Betting and affiliate company Better Collective has launched a share buyback program of EUR 40 million. The stock is up 0.6 percent.

Pareto Securities has upgraded Traton to "buy" from "hold," with a target price of SEK 380 (previously 320). The stock is up 2.2 percent.

EFN has issued a buy recommendation for Inission, and the stock has risen 3.6 percent.

Morgan Stanley has upgraded Alfa Laval to "equal weight" from "underweight," with a target price of SEK 500. The stock rose 1.5 percent.
