Enel transfers EV charging services to Enel Energia

(Alliance News) - Enel is moving forward with the reorganization of its retail and electric mobility operations.

According to a report by Milano Finanza on Thursday, Enel Energia's extraordinary general meeting has approved the partial demerger of Enel X through the transfer of its Mobility Services Provider business unit.

The transaction, MF continues, involves electric vehicle charging services for end customers and aligns with the group's strategy to centralize its commercial offerings for electricity, gas, fiber, and e-mobility services within Enel Energia.

The objective is to create a single commercial platform capable of providing integrated products and services to customers, while simultaneously simplifying the organizational structure and operational management.

According to the newspaper, the restructuring is consistent with the 2028 strategic plan presented by CEO Flavio Cattaneo and follows the previous integration of Enel X Way into Enel X, which was completed in 2025.
