EQT is preparing an initial public offering of Metlifecare, which operates retirement homes, on the Australian and New Zealand stock exchanges, according to the Australian Financial Review.

The private equity firm has appointed Macquarie Capital, Jarden, and Forsyth Barr as joint lead managers for a potential listing. Barrenjoey Capital Partners may also be involved through its partnership with Forsyth Barr.

EQT has owned Metlifecare since 2020.
