AQR Capital Management has built a 0.5 percent short position in EQT, becoming the latest public short seller in the private equity firm.

This move marks the emergence of a disclosed short interest in EQT. Total short interest in the company currently stands at 4.16 percent of its share capital.

The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) mandates that positions exceeding 0.1 percent must be reported, while short positions surpassing 0.5 percent are required to be made public.
