Telecommunications equipment provider Ericsson is relocating its Stockholm headquarters and operations from Kista to Hagastaden, having signed extensive lease agreements with Atrium Ljungberg and Castellum. This was confirmed in press releases from the respective companies.

The agreements cover a total of approximately 71,000 square meters. The 15-year lease with Atrium Ljungberg carries an annual rent of approximately SEK 360 million, while the agreement with Castellum represents an annual rental value of approximately SEK 80 million.

Atrium Ljungberg's 15-year lease for 58,000 square meters is described as the largest office deal ever recorded in Sweden.

The relocation is scheduled to begin in 2028 and will be carried out in phases over several years.

'We have carefully evaluated the type of office and location that will best meet the future needs of the company and our employees in the Stockholm area. Hagastaden is clearly the best location for this, situated in the heart of Stockholm's network for technological collaboration and innovation, including excellent access to our evolving industry ecosystem, partners, and decision-makers. A vibrant central campus will also enhance our attractiveness to the best future talent,' says Ericsson CEO Börje Ekholm.

Ericsson's primary landlords in Kista are currently Vasakronan and Corem. The latter manages and leases Ericsson's Swedish headquarters, which is now set to be relocated.
