(Alliance News) - EuroGroup Laminations Spa's board of directors on Monday approved its first-quarter results, closing with a net loss of EUR3.1 million compared to a loss of EUR2.1 million recorded in the same period of 2025.
During the period, group revenues stood at EUR203.5 million, down 3.4% year-on-year at constant exchange rates and 8.0% compared to EUR221.1 million in the first quarter of 2025 at current exchange rates, within a macroeconomic and market environment still described as complex by the company.
The E-mobility solutions segment reported revenues of EUR117.9 million, a decrease of 9.4% at constant exchange rates and 13.3% compared to EUR135.9 million in the first quarter of 2025 at current exchange rates. Performance was weighed down by persistent unfavorable macroeconomic conditions in the US and Mexico, partially offset by early signs of recovery in the European market.
Conversely, Industrial & Infrastructure solutions confirmed its resilience, driven by platform flexibility and market diversification, reporting revenues of EUR85.7 million, up 6.1% at constant exchange rates and 0.5% compared to EUR85.2 million in the first quarter of 2025 at current exchange rates.
Adjusted Ebitda came in at EUR17.1 million compared to EUR23.5 million in the first quarter of 2025, impacted by lower volumes and persistent cost pressures. The Adjusted Ebitda margin was 8.4%, down from 10.6% the previous year.
Ebit amounted to EUR1.6 million compared to EUR9.0 million in the first quarter of 2025, after depreciation and amortization of EUR13.7 million, consistent with the industrial investment plan supporting growth in the E-mobility solutions segment.
The net financial position as of March 31 stood at EUR288.3 million, compared to EUR219.4 million at the end of 2025.
Finally, the company confirmed its guidance for the 2026 financial year, defined as a transition year for the E-mobility solutions business, while highlighting new opportunities linked to technological developments.
EuroGroup Laminations closed Monday's session down 0.3% at EUR1.11 per share.
