(Alliance News) - Ferrari NV announced that it repurchased 36,600 of its own ordinary shares between March 2 and March 6 on the Italian stock exchange.
The shares were acquired at an average unit price of EUR307.4331, for a total consideration of nearly EUR11.3 million.
During the same period, the Prancing Horse company repurchased 40,645 of its own ordinary shares on the New York Stock Exchange. The shares on the US market were bought at an average unit price of USD356.7277, for a total value of USD14.5 million, equivalent to approximately EUR12.5 million.
As of March 6, the company held 17.0 million treasury shares, net of shares assigned under the company's equity incentive plan, representing approximately 8.8% of the total ordinary shares issued.
Ferrari shares are currently up 1.7% at EUR300.10 per share.
