(Alliance News) - Ferrari NV announced on Monday that it repurchased 64,315 of its own common shares between May 4 and May 8 on the Italian stock exchange.
The shares were acquired at an average unit price of EUR287.4862, for a total consideration of nearly EUR18.5 million.
During the same period, the Prancing Horse company acquired 8,876 common shares on the New York Stock Exchange. The US market purchases were made at an average unit price of USD337.9359, for a total value of USD3.0 million, equivalent to approximately EUR2.5 million.
As of May 8, the company held 17.6 million treasury shares, net of shares assigned under the company's equity incentive plan, representing approximately 9.1% of the total issued common shares.
Ferrari shares closed Monday down 2.9% at EUR281.10 per share.
