(Alliance News) - Ferrari NV announced on Monday that it acquired 39,000 of its own ordinary shares between January 5 and January 9.

The shares were purchased at an average unit price of EUR318.4842, for a total consideration of EUR12.4 million.

Following these transactions, the company now holds nearly 16.7 million treasury shares, representing 8.6% of its share capital.

Ferrari's stock is down 1.2% at EUR321.90 per share.
