Fideuram-Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking has launched its digital wealth management platform, Fideuram Direct, in Belgium and Luxembourg, further strengthening its footprint in Europe.
According to a company statement, this move is part of the collaboration announced last year with BlackRock, aimed at accelerating the international development of digital investment services.
Launched in Italy in 2022, the platform has already reached 81,000 clients and EUR3.3 billion in assets under management, offering banking and investment services through a dedicated mobile app.
The initiative is part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group's 2022-2025 business plan and bolsters the Private Division in both markets, where Intesa Sanpaolo Wealth Management is already present.
In Belgium, the adoption of digital banking services is rapidly increasing: more than 80% of citizens use banking apps monthly, while ETF usage has grown by 43% since 2022, according to BlackRock's People and Money survey.
Luxembourg continues to establish itself as a financial hub with a strong inclination towards the use of digital platforms.
