FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Following a weak performance in the previous session, the Dax stabilized on Thursday as holiday trading commenced. However, cues from the US and Asia remain soft. The AI-driven rally is showing signs of fatigue, with Broadcom, a major player in the sector, failing to fully impress with its forward-looking guidance. Meanwhile, the geopolitical situation regarding the conflict in Iran remains opaque.
In early trading, the Dax rose by 0.26 percent to 24,861 points. The MDax, which tracks mid-cap companies, climbed 0.54 percent to 32,914 points. The Eurozone's blue-chip index, the EuroStoxx 50, edged up by 0.2 percent./ajx/jha/
