Freightways Group Limited (NZSE:FRW) entered into an agreement to acquire Business and Assets of VT Freight Express Pty Ltd from VT Freight Express Pty Ltd for AUD 71 million on December 17, 2025. A cash consideration of AUD 71 million will be paid by Freightways Group Limited subject to customary completion adjustments. As part of consideration, AUD 71 million is paid towards assets of Business and Assets of VT Freight Express Pty Ltd. Subject to customary completion adjustments the Transaction price of AUD 71 million will be funded through existing and new bank debt facilities.
Completion is expected to occur on, or after, January 30, 2026, subject to customary conditions precedent.
