General Insurance Corporation of India had received communication from the Ministry of Finance dated January 30, 2026, conveying that the Central Vigilance Commission decided to transfer Shri Uday Laxmandas Devi, CVO, Oriental Insurance Corporation Limited to the post of CVO, GIC Re, Mumbai with immediate effect for the remaining period of his tenure up to August 30, 2028 or till further orders, whichever is earlier. This has reference to earlier letter ref. no.
GIC-HO/BOARD/SE-SMP-03/302/2025-26 dated 2nd January 2026 regarding assignment of additional charge to Shri Uday Laxmandas Devi, CVO Oriental Insurance Corporation Limited (OICL) as CVO, General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) w.e.f. 29th December 2025, upto the period the CVC convey their decision on the transfer request of CVO, OICL or for a period of three (03) months or till further orders, whichever is earlier.
