GoFintech Quantum Innovation Limited announced that Dr. Jing Lin has been appointed as the chief scientist of the Company with effect from April 24, 2026. In this position, Dr. Lin will be responsible for providing advice on strategic direction and professional technical consultation, and participate in project development of the Group. Dr. Lin is an executive with nearly 20 years of global experience in enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) strategy and digital solutions.
Prior to joining the Company, she has been serving as the Chief AI Data Scientist at The Hong Kong Jockey Club since January 2022, where she collaborates with executive leadership to implement AI solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, revenue growth, and market expansion. Dr. Lin has also served as the co-founder of the Silicon Valley-China CIO Innovation Alliance, establishing cross-border Go-to-Market strategies and collaborating with global technology leaders such as Nvidia, Alphabet, AWS, Microsoft, Databrick, Alibaba, Tencent and ByteDance to integrate innovative tools into enterprise workplaces. Her extensive industry experience includes serving as the Head of the Big Data department for Property Insurance at Ping An Group from 2019 to 2021, where she led digital transformation initiatives that earned the 2019 digital Award from Harvard Business Review.
Dr. Lin also held the position of director of strategy and operation for the cash loan business at Baidu Inc. between 2017 and 2019. Earlier in her career, she served as the lead data scientist at Aegon Asia and as a senior data scientist at Cigna International. Dr. Lin is a recognized leader in digital innovation, frequently invited as a keynote speaker at global conferences such as the IT Value Summit, the AWS Financial Services Symposium, HPE Discover More AI Hong Kong, China FinTech and Digitalization Leadership Summit, 2021 Asia-Pacific New Energy and Automotive Digital Intelligence Summit and 2020 Silicon Valley-China CIO Innovation Alliance Summit.
She is an advisor expert for the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance at Shanghai Jiaotong University and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Computing School of the City University of Hong Kong and the Business School of the University of Science and Technology of China. Dr. Lin received her Ph.D. degree in Finance from the City University of Hong Kong, a master degree in engineering and dual bachelor degrees in science and statistics from the University of Science and Technology of China. Dr. Lin holds three United States patents in the field of data science related to predictive modeling and the next-best-offer optimization.
She also serves as a council member for the Hong Kong Society of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (HKSAIR).
