Export inspections of U.S. grains for the week ended March 19 exceeded totals from this time last week, according to Agriculture Department data.

U.S. export inspections for corn totaled 1.7 million metric tons for the week, while soybeans inspections were 1.1 million tons and wheat inspections were 458,411 tons, the USDA said in its latest weekly report on Monday. For corn and soybeans, this figures beat both last week and the same time a year ago, while for wheat the total was more than seen in the prior week but less than it was a year ago.

Mexico was the leading destination for U.S. corn and wheat for the week. China was the top destination for U.S. soybeans.

CBOT grain futures are lower in morning trading with most-active corn down 1.7%, soybeans down 0.1%, and wheat down 2.7%.
